Such is the theme of the title story in this collection of five novellas, which also include 'Send Her Victorious' - featuring a psychiatrist who believes he is the Emperor Franz Joseph and a client posing as Freud; and 'Since the Assassination' - about a president with a drug-pushing wife and a schizoid son.
